This course is essential for any individual or team involved in the searching for and rescuing of lost
persons in any type of terrain. Consisting of both practical and theory based learning, participants
will achieve a high level of competence in ground search and rescue. This program meets the
training requirements for National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) 1670 wilderness search and rescue and the competencies outlined by the National SAR Secretariat of Canada.

At the end of this highly interactive training, participants will be able to:
