• Which portions of the competition are open to spectators?

Spectators will be able to see the vendor area on Wednesday September 23, parts of the scenarios on Thursday Sept 24 (from a distance) and 6 of the 8 scenarios on Friday and Saturday.

• Are there designated viewing areas or certain venues that are better for public access?

On the Friday and Saturday it will be the easiest to view the scenarios. These scenarios are in and around Penticton.

• Is there any registration, waiver, or advance notice required for spectators?

Spectators can watch without registration, however they cannot enter the cordoned off areas. If spectators want into the trade and convention centre on the Wednesday, they will need to register.

• Are there opportunities for rescue personnel to observe more closely for learning purposes?

Outside of being staff, for liability reasons, spectators will only be able to get to the barrier.

• Are there recommended hotels or lodging areas?

We have recommended the Balcomo and the Four Points Sheraton.
